Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You clearly know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving us something enlightening to read? 

Wow now I've seem many different angles to get a spam comment posted but this is the first time I've seen someone be quite this rude. At first read you might even think that, while rude, they are just giving their honest opinion. However if you go to the post where they made this comment you'll realize there isn't even a video! LOL

Commas Are Important

Today's Are They For Real Comment comes from my worm blog. It was on a post titled, "The Scientific Name for Earthworms". Here is the comment:

Now upon the first read I was thinking this is a guy trying to sell NFL apparel geared toward women. But, like all bloggers, I get a ton of spam. With all my experience I know that many of these spammy comments are written by folks whose first language is not English. As you can imagine, things like spelling and punctuation are not skills that are these folks could brag about at the dinner table.

With that said I'm wondering if instead of just NFL apparel, maybe this guy is really selling from a couple niches, if he meant for the punctuation to look more like this...

Cheap Women, NFL Jerseys, Free Shipping, Wholesale Women, NFL Jerseys, from China with best service and free gift can set. 

Well now it's really a whole new ball game! They still don't get their spammy comment approved on my site, but I did get a nice laugh.

 Wow isn't that the most general template for blog post spam I've ever seen! I'm trying to figure out if his spammy template includes the "Great post Matt" or if he really thinks my name is Matt? Either way I got a kick out of this one!

Somewhat on Topic?

Oh man, today's Are They for Real Comment is great. It is a comment from my worm blog from a post titled, "Vacuum Bag in Bin". It is a post about whether or not it's a good idea to put the contents of your vacuum cleaner bag into your worm bin. I got this comment in response:

Today's Are They For Real Comment really made me laugh out loud! It's from my earthworm recycling blog on a post titled, "Kitchen Compost Container". As you might guess this was a post talking about a container which you set up in your kitchen to let your worms live in and compost your left over food for you. I received this comment as feedback:

This person is just so excited by the content of this post. What is worth noting though is the post contained no jokes and I am not building a new house. I will likely decorate my house for Christmas but I do that every year in this house and didn't mention it in the blog either. I agree this is Amazing!

I was ready to totally discount all this person had to say, but then she signed up with hugs and kisses, BJ... Now I think I might want to meet her ;)

Gibberish

Sometimes the Are They For Real Comments are funny because they are just so crazy. Sometimes they are funny because they are typos. Sometimes it because they clearly have a plan to make some money that is so clearly misguided. Today though is an example of of one that is just complete and total gibberish. The kind of thing that you just feel bad for someone who actually spend the time typing that in because the so obviously wasted 5 minutes of their life!

Where to begin with this one? It almost sounds like a real comment with glowing feedback until you really read it. My favorite phrase is where they say they hadn't encountered such a stuff. Apparently I'm a real life saver!

Today's Are They For Real Comment comes from my worm blog. It was on a post about the scientific names for earthworms. After explaining the class, phylum, etc to which earthworms belong, I received the following feedback:

However, knowing that this person was able to achieve access persistently quickly is going to crack me up for a while :)

Today's Are They For Real Comment comes from my worm composting blog again. Earthworm recycling seems to be a topic that really brings in the weirdos when it comes to spammy comments. This blog post was specifically talking about fishing earthworms, to which I received this:

Say what?

What exactly is got humed from this guys nose? I'm guess that maybe this is some kind of quote from some science fiction book. At least I was thinking this until the last sentence about snot rockets! 

What's Taking Place, Man?!

Today's Are They For Real Comment comes from my wife's blog, Colorushealthy.com. It's a healthy living blog which talks about exercise, specifically running, and healthy eating. The comment was in response to a blog post titled:  Healthy Recipes for Bad Mamajamas. The post is talking about specific recipes for folks that follow her site and are recognized as Bad Mamajamas. To this topic she received the following comment:

The part that really made me laugh is the opening. "What's Taking Place" I'm assuming that is a question. I pictured it asked by only the absolute nerdiest kid in school. Hey man, What's Taking Place? lol. 

Also that this specific content has aided them out loads! I guess there are a million funny lines I could write about that, but I'll allow you to fill in the blank here ;) I'll also ask that this spammer keep his loads to himself in the future :)

Muscle Car?

I really like today's Are They For Real Comment because it is all over the map on it's own, let alone that it has nothing to do with the content of the blog post. This one comes from a blog I run about personal loans, mortgages, and financial info. It is a comment on a post titled "Cheap Unsecured Loans". And here is the gem:

I had such high hopes when I read the first sentence. I mean at least it was talking about loans which is the topic of the blog. But then it went down hill quickly from there. I'm not sure how they got from car loans to losing those extra pounds, to rebuilding muscle so fast? Maybe they are driving a muscle car? Either way they have me whiplash with the fast topic changes!

Today's Are They For Real Comment really made me laugh. It's just one of those that is so far out there that you have to laugh to keep from crying.

It is a comment on post Titled: "The Scientific Name of Earthworms" from my composting worms blog. After discussing what the scientific name of earthworms is, I received the following comment:

WTF?! lol

How did we get from A to B? I'm assuming they are talking about Jimmy Hendrix, and how the wah-wah effect he used was ahead of it's time? Can't say that I would disagree, I'm just not sure if the proper place for this debate is nestled into the comments about what Scientists chose to refer to my  fishing bait?!

Today's Are They For Real Comment comes from a loans blog that I run. It is a comment which was placed on a blog post titled "Credit Cards and your Mortgage Approval". As you might imagine the post discussed how your credit card usage can effect your approval possibilities when you got for a mortgage. I received this comment...

This next funny comment is again from my worm composting blog. It is a comment on a specific post which I was writing about worm farming. After some somewhat in depth writing I received the following comment:

"The knowledge here is really quite helpful. I have been taught many helpful hints."

I suppose at a first look maybe that just looks like a nice little comment. But after seeing thousands of these kind of spam comments over the years, you can easily spot the scammers. When they are very vague like this, they are spamming!

Blood Pressure?

This comment is from a composting worm blog of mine, www.wormcompostingorganic.com. Its a comment from a specific post "Earthworm Habitat Experiment Day 11" which was from a series where I was running some daily experiments with the worms in my worm bin. In response to this experiment report I received this comment...
